This is a plain-language summary written for the GenAccess MVP. It is not legal advice; it will be reviewed by counsel before any clinic partnership.

Agreement

By using GenAccess you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the service does

GenAccess helps you remember and log medications. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow the guidance of your healthcare professional.

Not a substitute for care

Do not rely solely on the app. Reminder delivery (push, email, or text) is best-effort and is not guaranteed — messages can be delayed or missed. You are responsible for taking your medications as prescribed.

Text-message reminders

Text reminders are optional and opt-in. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency depends on your medication schedule. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Caregiver alerts

Caregiver alerts are optional and opt-in. If you invite a caregiver, you confirm that you have that person's permission to share your medication-adherence status with them, and the caregiver must confirm before any alert is sent. Like all reminders, caregiver alerts are best-effort and not guaranteed — they may be delayed or missed, so neither you nor your caregiver should rely on them as the sole safeguard. You may remove a caregiver at any time, and a caregiver may opt out of receiving alerts at any time.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information and keep your device and account access secure.

Anonymous mode

In anonymous mode your data lives only on your device. Clearing browser storage permanently erases it and it cannot be recovered.

Availability

The service is provided “as is,” on a best-effort basis, without warranties. We may change or discontinue features.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenAccess is not liable for missed or delayed reminders or doses. It is a supportive tool, not a replacement for professional care.

Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
